Clients
Clients shows your pairing address, unfinished pairing requests, and paired clients. Open a request to verify a new client, or open an existing client to manage its access.
Pairing address
Section titled “Pairing address”The address is the public name clients use to start pairing with this phone. Knowing it allows someone to send a pairing request; it doesn’t grant access to your secrets. You accept each client by comparing its verification code.
Use Copy pairing address to copy the address, or Change pairing address to choose another one. When there are no clients or unfinished requests, the page also offers a command you can copy to start pairing.
Pause new pairings
Section titled “Pause new pairings”The pairing switch controls whether new clients can start pairing. New pairings are enabled after initial setup. Turn the switch off to pause them and on to resume them.
Pausing keeps existing clients connected and leaves any already admitted pairing request available to finish or reject. To cancel that request, open it and reject it separately.
This setting is saved after the relay confirms the change. If the phone cannot reach the relay, the app reports the error and the displayed setting stays unchanged.
Pairing requests
Section titled “Pairing requests”The Pairing requests section shows attempts waiting for the secure exchange, your verification-code choice, or the client’s final confirmation. An exchange that failed also remains here until you reject it.
The phone handles one unfinished pairing at a time. Finish or reject the current attempt before starting another, including when the client has abandoned it. Aborting pairing on the client alone doesn’t remove the phone’s request.

Paired clients
Section titled “Paired clients”Clients are sorted by name. Each entry includes available hostname and platform information, its last request time, and the number of secrets with unexpired temporary access. Several kinds of temporary access to the same secret count as one secret here.
Suspended clients remain listed. A state change awaiting the relay appears as Changing…; revoked clients disappear from the list. The active state means a client is allowed to connect, not that it is currently online.
If clients share the same name, the list shows the last six characters of their client IDs to help distinguish them. Open Client details to see the full ID, rename the client, or change its access.
