Plan and billing
Open Settings → Plan and billing to inspect AI review access, buy or manage a plan, or refresh status.
Secret storage, pairing, CLI use, manual decisions, local approval modes, and temporary access are free. Paid access enables cloud AI review for secrets whose effective approval mode is AI.
AI review status
Section titled “AI review status”| Status | Meaning |

| Finish device setup | The device must complete setup before access can be activated. |
| Not active | AI access is inactive. Requests configured for AI review need your decision. |
| Status unavailable | The app could not establish access status. Review the displayed error and refresh when the problem is resolved. |
If a refresh fails after the app already knows whether access is active, it retains that known state and shows the status error. A failed refresh does not by itself erase existing access.
When AI access is inactive, the app keeps AI approval settings and instructions. It asks you to decide affected requests manually. Activating access lets new eligible requests use AI review; it does not switch every secret to AI or replace decisions already made.
Choose secrets for AI review opens the Secrets tab. Select the relevant approval modes there. Manual decisions remain available independently of billing status.
If you opened this screen from a secret’s AI access prompt, activation returns you to that screen automatically. Select AI again to apply the mode; activating access does not apply the earlier selection for you.
Buying a plan
Section titled “Buying a plan”Read the service terms before purchasing, including the AI review limitations.
When Google Play billing is available and a new plan can be purchased, the screen shows available offers with prices and terms supplied by Google Play. Active access, pending payments, or an existing purchase can instead show status and management controls. Eligible trials show the free period and the price afterward, with Start free trial opening checkout. Subscribe starts checkout for an automatically renewing offer without a trial; Buy plan is used for other offers. Complete or cancel checkout in Google Play.
Trial offers explain when charges begin and how the plan renews. Cancel in Google Play before the trial ends to avoid charges. Terms of service and Privacy notice open the corresponding website pages.
The app disables purchase actions while an operation is running. Cancelling checkout does not buy a plan. A pending payment does not activate new AI access until Google Play reports the purchase as completed; existing active access can remain usable while another payment is pending.
After a completed purchase, Agentknock processes activation. Subscription needs attention means a purchase exists but access has not become active; review the accompanying message and use Refresh status to retry checking.
If Google Play billing is unavailable, the screen explains the problem. Purchasing requires a signed-in Play Store and a copy of Agentknock installed through Google Play. Existing access can still be checked even when the store offers are unavailable.
Managing and refreshing access
Section titled “Managing and refreshing access”Manage in Google Play opens the relevant subscription when its product information is known, or Google Play’s subscription list when billing is unavailable without that information. The action remains available during status checks and refresh failures. Google Play handles subscription changes and cancellation. Factory reset does not cancel your subscription.
Refresh status checks purchases and the server’s access record. The app also refreshes on returning to the foreground and when the device identity changes. The screen reports purchase, activation, and refresh errors separately so you can tell which step failed.
